Child Criminal Exploitation Evening : Mon 19 May 18:00

Dear Resident,

 

Hertsmere Council along with Welwyn & Hatfield Council are delighted to invite you to an evening on child criminal exploitation and grooming. The evening will include a talk given by Junior Smart from St Giles. 

 

Junior is an expert in the field, has a PhD in teaching and has received an OBE for his dedication in tackling youth violence. Local youth related organisations will have stalls to talk about their services. The evening is due to finish at 8pm.

 

Local Officers from Hertfordshire Police will be in attendance to support the event.

 

We are keen to hear about any concerns you have regarding Anti Social Behaviour, crime or any other issues affecting you or our local community.

¬Good afternoon all,
Hertsmere and Welwyn & Hatfield’s Community Safety Partnerships are delighted to invite you to an evening on Child Criminal Exploitation and grooming. The evening will include a talk given by Junior Smart from St Giles. Junior is an expert in the field, has a PhD in teaching and has received an OBE for his dedication in tackling youth violence. Local youth related organisations will have stalls to talk about their services.
We welcome any parent, professional or community member to join us to learn more on these topics.
There will be free pizza provided as well as entry to a free raffle with the prize being a signed Arsenal football.
The evening will run from 6 – 8pm on Monday 19 April at Dame Alice Owen’s School, Dugdale Hill, Potters Bar, EN6 2DU. There is parking on-site.
You can book your place via the QR code below or in the leaflet attached. Please note that booking is not required to attend, but if you have any dietary requirements it is recommend to make us aware of these via the QR code so we can cater to any needs.
